
Lauren is a graphic designer living in Los Angeles. Her print, identity and interactive projects include advertisements, publications, packaging, presentations, logos, and websites. In addition, she is experienced as a photo shoot art director, photographer (including stock images available on iStockphoto), digital imaging technician, trainer for staff in both Adobe and prepress software, graphic design and arts writer, copywriter, and marketing assistant.
Strongly proficient in numerous applications, Lauren possesses extensive knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, InDesign, and more. Her in-depth technical skills range from prepress and preflight processes to web development using XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and ActionScript.
Her nine years of professional graphic design experience at advertising agencies, publications, and for numerous individual clients includes working at The Enneagram in Business, Flux Business Communications, and The Santa Barbara News-Press.
She writes articles on graphic design and on the arts for the publication Examiner.com, providing significant media coverage regarding technological, cultural, and aesthetic aspects.
Lauren graduated with a B.A. from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, where she studied Studio Art and Psychology. Furthermore, receiving the official honor of "earned with distinction," Lauren graduated recently from the UCLA Extension Advanced Web and Interactive Design Certificate program.
